Hello, mappers of tf2maps!
It's Alex from Deviant Pictures Films (the team behind Defuse on the Fly, Two Evil Eyes, Protector and Sky Fortress). We are working on our ultra secret project and we are looking for a skilled mapper.
We need a source mapper to create assets and maps based on our concepts for our TF2 film. It's mostly tedious work so need someone skilled and highly enthusiastic.

What we need:
• cinematic quality
• indoor and outdoor mapping
• victorian and medieval acrhitecture

What you get:
• your name in the titles (hurrah!)
• some virtual cookies
• possibly a Saxxy Award

I'm not really able to do anything for you, but I just wanted to say I really liked the quality of those sketches.

Also I'd totally be down but I'm already on a Saxxy project team, so tempting to want to volunteer my skill though.

On second thoughts, yes, i COULD help ya with vis.
One of my previous works is a trade map called trade_gamestylerz_city.

Should note guys that since this is set for Saxxy videos, you DO NOT have to compile with FULL vvis. If you compile with fast VVIS and then just HDR + all the bells and whistles, you'll be fine.

However do note that buildcubemaps is BROKEN in SFM's build of the engine.

Cubemaps is not a big deal for us, same with high-quality compile. To think, cinematic maps have low quality cap for everything except aesthetics and assets.

You need to compile with HDR for the map to work in SFM, and you have to use some compile options to make props light properly. Thats what I was implying with my comment about lighting. You do want the map to look good, even before going into SFM.
