I got a question: do you have a release date in mind? August? October?

I feel as though we should at least get a portion of this done before the 72hr contest, similar to what the japan pack did.

I've been itching to get back into this stuff. But summer class and work have had me much much busier than I like. :glare:

I have two suggestions for props if anyone cares.

A Greenland Sleeper Shark, which could be used as a slow moving entity in the water or hung/displayed in some way out of the water.
A Bowhead whale, which would probably be used in a similar fashion the shark.

I lack the skills to contribute in a meaningful way, but these may or may not work.

Those sharks are pretty rare and usually spend their time on the sea floor, not near the surface. I think animals wouldn't make too good of map props. They'd require animations or scripted events or whatever, and they'd just essentially be decoration that probably wouldn't get noticed too much.

I'm interested in doing some modeling, but I am ehh at the texturing side. If someone could make the textures for my models I'd be willing to go in hard on this pack...

Yeah the Shark is pretty uncommon, but in some arctic communities it's a delicacy and is often left hanging outside as part of the preparation (Normally cut up, but it's more interesting to have it in one piece). Never said it had to be alive (Just that it could) Same for the whale. Arguably a Dead prop would be better than a live prop for both.

I think we're all waiting for official word from iibo. No one is sure whether or not this project is still a thing because we haven't gotten any updates in months

Snow still needs normals. Icicles are just randomly placed, textures for em would be different. I'll probably put some more snow or icicles on the railings.

This exists already: http://forums.tf2maps.net/showthread.php?t=14115

I think yours looks better though.

Also while trying to find this, I found this ancient topic where Void requested a snowplow cart and I think that would be a great addition to this pack. If it's still being done. Which it should be.

I think a snowplow cart has already been in the works for this, though it's still in the concept stage.

I need to get my ass up and update this project aahh im so sorry it's been so long.
