Texture Splatoon Textures

So, I'm working on a Splatoon map (Walleye Warehouse) so i need the textures from Splatoon.
I know, that at this date Splatoon isn't released, but we have what we played on the demo and videos.
If you can, make the maxim amount of textures available, not just including the textures used on Walleye Warehouse, those remaining textures can be used for future maps.

That would be excruciatingly hard to do and it would not fit the tf2 art style.

But the map is just a port from Splatoon!
What about other community maps? Like trade_clocktown, trade_delfinoplaza?
They have their own textures from the original game.
And Splatoon isn't too realistic, its almost like cartoon art style

You got a point.

Also those maps use textures from game that are already released and have been hacked.

Why go through the trouble of ripping such generic-looking textures when you could easily replace them with similar TF2 ones?

K, i will do that.
If someday i get the textures i will update the map with the changes.

it would be really easy if we had a wiiu emulator (these things can usually dump in folder anything that is in the video ram). wait a couple years and we'll be able to do it for sure. meanwhile you could try and see what the data structure is like. I don't actually know how far in the community has gone with the wiiu, there might be tools around.

Surely ripping textures from a Nintendo game as soon as it hits the market, to use in a map is a bit iffy? Isn't that kind of thing frowned upon?

I was gonna remake Saltspray Rig, and in doing so was gonna make some custom textures. Obviously they won't be ripped, but i will try my hardest to replicate them. And the people arguing about the artstyle, look at the fucking game for half a second. It is a LOT closer to TF2 than Minecraft and Zelda ffs.

Only one person expressed legitimate concern about the art style, and later admitted that it wasn't important.
