Hello, I'm Sam from the Hampshire Heavies, a UK/EU TF2 clan. We're running a New Map Night on Sunday, 7.30pm GMT+1/UK time, and we'd like to test your maps!

We provide feedback on server and on our forum, along with a SourceTV demo if you can't come along. It's a 24 man public server, alltalk switched on. Our server is usually full for the whole playtest.

Couple rules, similar to the gameday: map must be in active development, playable on a 24 man public server, no fullbright, must have better gameplay than orange_x. The map will be played for as long as is worthwhile - anywhere from between 20 to 40 minutes. We hope to play 5 maps over 2 hours.

If you post here I can't guarantee we will play your map. I have to pick maps that represent good variety within a given week. If your map would never be eligible for NMN in its current state, I will say so in the thread. If I don't rule your map out, but we don't play your map this week, assume your map would be eligible and post it again another week.

Please post two direct links to both your .bsp and .bz2, not zipped or rarred. If your map is updated before the playtest, post again.

Also post your Steam profile - I need it to tell you we're playing your map! :thumbup1:

The HH has a long history of assisting mappers. Over the years we have been involved in playtesting freight, gullywash, and steel - in fact, our help with the latter got us our own poster included in every single copy of TF2!

Help us live up to our legacy and discover the next 'officialised' community map.

Post it anyway if you like and I can have an early look round. I don't upload them until just before the playtest :)

Hi I have a map - pd_watergate_b7a - that I'd like a playtest on, however this map requires a custom plugin be installed for the logic to work (the plugin + sourcecode + instructions are included in the .zip download of the map).

There is a config file located at 'addons/configs/killstreak_maps.txt' that controls on which maps the plugin will run on.
The plugin also uses a config file located at 'cfg/sourcemod/killstreak_rewards.cfg' which contains all the relevant convars and descriptions of each.

Specifically the plugin runs most of the map logic entity: beers dropping from players, counters on all player screens, being able to deposit these beers into the UFO beam when it comes by, declaring 'team leaders' who have the most beer on each team and giving them dispensers and outlines, handling the score limit depending on how many players are connected at the start of the round, and giving the players relevant HUD notifications.

Here's a map that I've been working on for a little while, a simple 3 control point Attack & Defend map titled Kombu (which is a shade of green, I believe). There's a BSP here and a BZ2 here. I can also be contacted here.

Otherwise I have to do a lot of file management on my end over and over for all the maps, and again when they're updated.

I'm unable to upload a BSP for tanker right now since it's very large (around 52mb) and my internet has been very spotty recently.

If I get a chance I will but a bz2 will have to do for now, sorry.

Sorry if your map hasn't been picked, lots of submissions this week, only got 2 hours and these maps are all quite large and need more time for testing. If we have time left over I'll try and squeeze one in.

Assault - still want to play this
Incinarate - not sure there is enough of a unique layout here
Coffeeville - looks good, but the copy given has some pink checkerboard textures and red model errors
Zero G - interesting, would like to play it
