An update to Team Fortress 2 has been released. The update will be applied automatically when you restart Team Fortress 2. The major changes include:

• Fixed crash when getting a malformed KeyValues buffer (thanks to Nathaniel Theis for the report)

I wonder how this person reported the issue; it's not like they're monitoring their GitHub anymore and it's not like they've ever monitored Steam Support.

The person probably just emailed them directly. They also seem to regularly read / post to the HLDS mailing list thingamabob: https://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds
