I'm a bored freshman. AMA.

On a more serious note I am in fact a bored Freshman. Recently I decided it was time for me to get off my ass, and persue a better education other than a HS diploma. As of Monday I start a math class so that should tons of fun, but hey I still got the weekend so there's that.

My current goals are to get my AS in Computer Programming, do an internship with a game dev., and eventually get a BS in Computer Science. For now though I will be making Hammer maps, and trying not to gauge my eyes out with this finicky old map making tool... also Unity.

I ultimately decided I really wanted to try to learn Hammer, because I love to play TF2 so why not at least try, and make something. Also I figure if I do make a map, and it gets enough positive responses I can always use add it to a portfolio down the road. However, this is just a hobby.

Hammer works well enough as it is, but it just feels so clunky, and annoying in some respects. I never knew how much I would miss being able to play test crap on the fly like in Unity, or other engines.
