Hi,

I post this question because I got this glitch like 1 month so,

When I open hammer, open a map, no bugs founds ok. But when I choose to place some healthkit, I got a "ERROR" sign. When I want to choose a prop, the entire page is white and when I decompile my map, he crash (happend 1/3 time). So why did I get that. Please tell me :(.

Go to TF2 in Steam, right-click on Team Fortress 2, select properties. Under the "Local Files" tab, select the "Verify Cache" button and let Steam do it's job. By clicking this button you let Steam check your version of TF2 with the current Steam version of TF2 and Steam will download or replace any missing/broken files (not custom files though). If that doesn't work, try a full reinstall of the game.

I had to use it once when Hammer couldn't find any textures for no reason. Turns out the whole material system got screwed up somehow and Steam redownloaded about 2 GB of materials and textures for me.
