[Request] Computer Monitor for a Desk?

I was wondering if somebody could make a computer monitor model. I do know how to compile models (using GUIstudioMDL). But I SUCK at making them fit any form of style (TF2, in this case). Could somebody make a computer model based off of (from HL2) "props_lab\monitor02"? You can see what it looks like from the screenshot. I would prefer to have two skins, one active, and one inactive.

Thanks! :)

Problem is, in the time period that TF2 is set, computers were still very large-format (see: spytech tape-operated conputers), although is guess in depends on what you're planning on using this for. What kind of setting/map?
The setting is inside a classroom. I'm making a CTF school-themed map. The CTF game is out on a playground and the spawn rooms are classrooms.

Schools didn't have computers in the late 60s or early 70s. They were bulky and expensive.

Yeah, they still used, like, slide rules and stuff back then. So hey, if someone wants to make a slide rule...

EDIT: That lab equipment that was mentioned in another thread would be handy when it's done, if you want to include a chem lab.

Hey, thanks a lot for the idea! :O

1. I know.
2. My map is (somewhat, I guess?) set in the mid 90's. So a desktop computer model (like in the screenshots of the HL2 one) would work for my map. Even just a re-texture of the HL2 model would work. Or I could just have a (like stevethepocket mentioned) a chemistry lab (BLU) and a engineering (sentries, specifically) class (RED).

Speaking of a chemistry lab, do you think you could provide the link to the thread? I would like to see it.

It's just below or above this one, currently.

And is there a reason why your map takes place in the '90s and assumes none of the characters have aged in 25 years, other than that's probably when you were in school so it'll be easier to make it accurate that way?

Holy crap guys just let the guy make the map he wants. No one cares about time period, valve certainly doesn't. Stop sounding so entitled, it doesn't matter. TF2 hasn't made sense in years and you trying to preserve a non-existent setting for zero reason in order to stop someone making the thing they want to make just makes you look like a jerk.

It's pretty clear that OP isn't making the worlds most super serious fanfic/lore epic, it's a fucking custom map for fucks sake.

I think I know what would work would be a Terminal. Basically multiple monitors hooked up to one large computer. Also, there are HL computer models out there.
