This is just a small map that I've been working on. In this map, blue pushes a cart around a large curve before going down a hill, then over a bridge to towards the final point.

Please note that the map isn't fully textured, nor is the layout finalized.
Please leave constructive criticism in the comments below.

This is my first map that I'm publicly releasing. Please don't hurt me.

Looks rather dark, add some more lights to it.

Lighting has been a rather large issue for this map, with it being underground 'n' all. I'm thinking I may scrap the underground theme, or at least remove the ceiling that is currently hiding the sky and let some natural light in. Or I might keep a semi-underground theme and just make it look like you're in a pit.

Otherwise, other areas that I didn't photograph are actually fairly well lit. However, these areas are less finished than others, so I didn't take any photos of them.

You could try making this map to be set in a canyon.
You could get interesting lighting in the map.

Buildings hanging over an open canyon would definitely be cool to see.

Setting isn't an excuse for low lighting. If you look at Double Cross or Pipeline, you'll find that even though they're set in the middle of the night, the maps themselves are still very well-lit.

It's okay to forgo realism in favour of making the map nicer to play in.

Updated the pictures to reflect the new lighting changes. Snipers can now see heads, and Spys don't have a huge darkness advantage.
