I thought I could change the circles, but I can't change the sprite they use
Still, at least this thing has a HUD now. I'm glad I didn't try to do this while the contest was going on, it'd taken me two full days of work to rebuild the entire gamemode from scratch to get the HUD in.
Sadly no, it appears all of the icons in the payload HUD are hard coded. I could override them but I'd break every payload map that was played after, and even then I couldn't change the color of the cart mid round.
I thought about a screen overlay like snowplow but I'm not sure what to put on it....
Fun but feels like whichever team successfully starts moving the cart a decent distance always ends up winning. Maybe make the cart a bomb with a countdown that ticks down when it stands still till it explodes, causing a new bomb to spawn at the start of the track.
This is a really good adaptation of SD/PLR. I strongly suggest you get fubar's setup though, he always seemed to have the best for tug o war. Something in there might be useful even if you don't use it.
I'm not sure. I mostly linked it because I don't know what you're doing and you may find it useful. It might also be simpler, because I know he spent a long time figuring that out and streamlining it.
