Factory is a Gravel Pit style ma, with a twist! Instead, blue must obtain a center control point, then are allowed to capture the last two remaining Control Points in any order they want. What soon starts as a gravel pit style map soon turns into a true Attack & Defend map.

Factory uses dynamic path ways that are active in a single direction based on which of the last points Blue captures first.

You may remember that Factory was a Full CP Push map, however that changed.

Factory is getting ever so closer to its release stage, and we commonly have it's testing over at f7lans.

This looks stunning [ninja edit: I didn't even see Youme's post before I wrote that], quite simply. The gameplay idea is interesting in the same way as Steel's gameplay is interesting - I certainly hope it'll work out as well as that too.

This looks like a candidate for inclusion in a Valve update in my opinion. :D

No comments on the detailing, you've got that down pretty well. I'm a bit puzzled by your description of the gameplay, but still intrigued. Would love to try it if/when you have a beta release.

Yeah the gameplay mode itself is controlled by dynamic path ways, while its hard to explain, were hoping that later tests will example that.

Nice, looks quite a bit different from the last time I saw it. As I recall, the gameplay idea wasn't that difficult to understand.

The last two points can be taken in either order, much like the first two points of gravelpit. The difference is that access between those points is determined by who owns them. If you own B but not C, there is a one-way passage from B to C. If it's the other way around, there is a one-way passage from C to B. If you own both (default for defenders) you can freely pass between them, but the attackers can't use that passage at all.

It's a mouthful to explain in words, but is fairly intuitive when you've captured one point and are looking at options to assault the other one.

I never got the chance to tell you that I love you.

Stunning work MTVC really stunning!

Second picture, that sign should have it's shadow's disabled though.. (both control point sign and the arrow)

I definitely think if this plays well, which I'm sure it will, Valve will pick up on it and release it.

In Fact you can Play it Tonight during our Playtest on one of the F7Lan Servers. We'll be passwording the server, but I'll paste that here as soon as I get it.

The IP though is however: 69.61.55.66:27015

We'll be testing in about three or so hours, see you guys there!
