Can you animate a prop using I/O and let different bones run different overlapping animations?
Choreographed scenes seem like a possible option, but is it possible to include those in downloaded maps?
As far as I know, no. You can use the choreograph manger entity (whatever it's called), but it doesn't seem to recognize the location of .vcd files. We tried to do this for snowplow, but couldn't figure it out in the time that we had to well, figure it out.
As for overlapping animations, no. To get the snowplow train to have the dynamic damage, while still having the impact/idle/movement animations, the modeler set up bodygroups for the damage, which do work with the animations.
I haven't had time to investigate further, so if you're able to get .vcd's to work, let me know!
