Sky bloom is insanely high?

So, when I boot up my map, the sky itself is WAY TO BRIGHT, so much so that it's just a white blob. Nothing else, though. I've TRIED to decrease the HDR values on the light_environment, but they didn't make they sky less bright in the slightest. Help?

Actually, no. You misinterpreted what I said. Let me further explain: I can see the sky a LITTLE BIT, and it's clearer when I'm outside.

BrightnessScaleHDR (any light entity)
AmbientScaleHDR (environment light)
env_tonemap_controller (controls the overall exposure)

Check for a leak if none of these methods work but I'm sure that sevin is incorrect.

Use it.

Okay, I eventually found a solution. Thanks!

HDR typically has brighter skyboxes than non-HDR, beacuse of how bloom works. If your world lighting is too dark, the sky can dramatically overbrighten due to the exposure system *increasing* the exposure of the world to compensate for being dark. You can prevent this by making your HDR environment lighting settings brighter than LDR (which is my preferred method), or capping the maximum exposure.
