So, I admin Comp.tf (the competitive tf2 wiki), and I also produce videos for our Youtube channel here

We have around 2K subs and I wanted to get a bit more variety of content in, a few months ago I started a series called Map Showcase which was supposed to show new and up and coming maps in the competitive scene, but so far I only did 1 video for the series, for our bball map (which you can see here)

I want to expand this series, so what I'm looking for is mappers that are interested in taking part in the series. The requisites are that the map is aimed at the competitive scene, and that is not early alpha or similar, but an already semi-tested version by the community. Essentially an up-and-coming map in the scene like for example, logjam, sunshine etc, have been.

If you're interested in this, post here or contact me through steam. I would also be very interested in having mappers talk about their map, so if you feel comfortable to do a small recording (maybe around 1 min) talking about your map it's definitely a plus.

What you gain from this? Well we have 2k subs, its not the biggest channel out there but it's something, you gain some exposure, which means more feedback, and of course I can also link your youtube channel in our video description.

Definitely interested in doing this with Glassworks. It's just starting to get some traction in the comp scene.

Edit to clarify a bit more:
Glassworks has had a decent amount of Highlander testing and plays really well in that mode. CEVO has it in their preseason here this next week and FBTF (a SA league) has it in their custom map 6s championship. I know it's in talks for some bigger Highlander related things, as well. I haven't focused on 6s much during testing, but it sounds like it's working decently for it. B4nny recently went through it and I implemented some of his change ideas to cater towards 6s a bit more, also. The map is currently in RC2

I also have a Youtube channel with a strong focus on custom maps and about 1700 subs, so maybe we could do some cross promotion to help each other out?

I have this map called cp_vanguard that has been getting intermittent comp testing during the 2 years it's been in development (in both highlander and 6s). I've been more or less focused on the highlander side of things lately as 6s testing has proven to be a difficult thing to get. The map has improved significantly over the last few versions tho. Now, I'm looking to grab the attention of the community and this seems to be a perfect opportunity.

If you have a server then you might want to consider becoming a data provider for the heatmaps.

Unsure on how to contact you directly, but I made cp_sunshine (and am just about ready to release rc3) and an kinda interested in doing this for the map. I absolutely abhor my voice and I'd be afraid to talk (even though I could say a lot about the map and the development process) but maybe we could work something out.

Sounds great, and I would be up for the cross promotion as well.

I don't know what you mean, I dont have a server, only a shared host account but it was given to me through a sponsorship so I wouldn't be able to host any other projects on it.

Added my steam profile to the original post. I was actually gonna add you to talk about doing something like this for sunshine but then I looked over the tf.tv thread of the map and I just decided to wait until u released rc3 to contact you. And I'm sure we can work something out any way :)

All the maps here fill the criteria at first glance so I would be more than happy to go over this with all of you guys, just add me on steam so we could discuss further.

Swiggity Sandstone, I have a map called sandstone: http://teamfortress.tv/thread/16114/koth-sandstone/?page=1

It was played in the maincall.tf comp and has been doing great here and there, i'll probably do an sfm video of it myself soon but your publicity and expertise could do it well.

However there is some more business i'd like to chat to you about. I'd like to be apart of your video-editing team.
Here is my "resume" so to speak: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B0oGkPA9p-c&index=1&list=PLWzgA-whOtZqnAHIlikzZfFYq3E18dIkG make sure to look at my most recent videos in that playlist that focus on a single map
