Good people !, well, my problem is this, I wonder how to put a sun on my map, and I'm making a map of a tropical island and clear, I need a sun regardless ... but do not know how put it. He is wanted in:

But nothing, and I did not find anything related to the sun. :confused::confused:

So, if they told me how to create it, I would be very grateful. :love::love:

I welcome your comments!:thumbup::thumbup:

So hold on, is the Dustbowl sun also the only one that has a bloom effect? Because I keep forgetting which map does that, and it sucks if you can't do that with an env_sun; in my opinion that would be the only good reason to have a feature like env_sun rather than just bake the sun into the skybox texture.

If you have blooming enabled, it should do it with all maps.... I think.

I once heard the reason why dustbowl has a prop sun, but I forget it.

If you like it, just decompile Viaduct and see how they do it. I personally dont know, but if you have a look you may be able to get the same effect.

Contrary to popylar believe, the dustbowl sun is like the only instance of a physical sun being placed in the map.

You'll want to use env_sun, which creates basically a big giant glowy object (the sun) in the sky with a bunch of different options.

doesn't 2fort use it too?
