I know it's late, but if anyone needs map ideas, I have a few. Mostly for people who are joining late, or have to start over off of a bad idea. I have some good ideas, but I cannot map to save my life.

Keep in mind though, I would like to keep in contact with whomever I'm working with.

Some of the props i've been working on.
Alien props:

These alien props are modular so you can mix and match them to create your own alien creations. there will be a laser gun and cannon. I just need to figure out a design that fits these.

The prize pool is the most generous i remember ever seeing. And i've decided to spice it up even further with a little experimental prize:



This is the terraformer. It's not just a rare weapon, it's a token of map making superiority. Starting with this contest, it'll be a wandering trophy, switching hands to the declared winner of every major contest. I believe that the people of tf2maps.net are decent enough people to allow such a system to function, so let's give it a go.

May the best mapper claim the mighty hammer!

These are some of the parts that worked on these past few weeks.
Still can add more based on suggestions.
The texture is not complete but basic colors.
Self illum will be added soon.
Lods also not implemented yet. Let me know which models you want me to do lods for.
I included samples of what you can do with these alien parts.

Request:
I want either the following:
Ufo resised 25% Along with all the particles (edit: If I did these myself can I roll with it?)
OR
A ufo like object in the sky that is 25% the size of a ufo and has a tractor beam effect.

Question: IN your rules it said maps will be reviewed oct 27th but deadline is nov 10.

WIll it be reviewed before the deadline that doesn't make sense to me.

oh yeah and so I don't spam this, check out the wip thread or koth_nikori thread for my new jump pads.

Map must be completed, compiled and submitted by the 10th.
