For the last couple of months I've been busy figuring out how hammer works, I think I got the hang of it enough to start working on a real map. I have a lot of problems making a good design. Last night I got an idea for a custom game mode.

What if there was a gamemode with a symmetrical map on which the cart starts in the middle and both team need to use them to to others base while defending there own. Players can stop the other team from pushing by standing close to the cart wile the other team is pushing.

Would this work? Was it been done before? What are your ideas, should I make such a map, the logic wouldn't be a big problem as far as I think (hopefully)

Thanks for replying!

have you ever played plr_hightower?

I think what fubar is trying to say is:

Based on your explanation, there is already a gamemode like this called Payload Race. The difference between yours (I believe) and the existing PLR mode is that your carts would start at the same location. You can use ABS's PLR Gametype Entity Prefab and play around with the idea a little bit, if you'd like.

Hope that helps!

I do believe that he means 2 teams, 1 cart, which would be 2tpl.

Have a look over here, maybe it helps you.
