Unfortunately, I will no longer be doing the Alien Core Content Pack. I would rather do something else. However, since I don't want to leave you all hanging, I will accept requests via PM or Steam Chat. I'm sorry but I don't want to do it anymore.

I don't exactly understand how and why you'd make a content pack geared towards a specific gamemode. It's not like every gamemode is styled vastly differently, and you could easily take props made for a map with one gamemode, and recycle them for a map with a different one. A good example would be the props from ctf_laynedecker.

I don't exactly understand it either, except for say, MvM or SD stuff.

Basically, those are for gamemode specific thing like control points and upgrade stations. I have some ideas for the upgrade stations but I don't how many people are doing MvM and I have an idea for a Indiepedence-styled alien ship for the rocket. So things like that.

Could you possibly create some cornfield type vegetation?

More specifically what I am thinking of would be skybox models/skycards of cornfields, and then a texture of sorts that looks like a flattened corn (like this: http://farmweeknow.com/cdfm/Fareek3/author/29/2011-Wind-Damage-in-Corn-Fi.jpg or dead colored like: http://www.rense.com/1.imagesH/cccw.jpg ).

The main thing I want is a large prop like a crashed alien spaceship or 3. I will note that most people will be doing no detailing in the actual contest, so all they really want to tie it to the theme is a giant blatant prop that says aliens.
