Testing with Bots

Im sure this is a stupid question but how do you test a map for a game day. I mean do you youst put bots in your level and check the fps ?

So if the bots are youst standing araunde in the spawn my fps will show what I will have to aspecte when 24 or so players are running araunde the map if I get this right.

You are expected to generate a navigation mesh so that the bots are semi competent. You could even fix it up if you truly want the most of the bot AI. Which still isn't much...

Ok so in order to test the fps of my map I will have to get the bots to move and see each other and stuff? I youst want to get my map ready for the game day so how the bots play dosent interest me.

The way i interpret this question, you're asking about how you test your level before submitting it to a gameday (which is where the map is played by live people on our server). In that case, just make sure the objective and the spawns are working, and make sure you haven't accidentally done stuff like connecting multiple doors to the same trigger by accident.

You also want to make sure that people don't leave the boundaries of the map by double checking your clipping.

Thanks for the reply's sorry that I phrased the question in kind of a bad way. I tested the fps of my level but it seems its all good with or without bots I will try getting my map ready for the eu game day now.
