Please help me find this map that isn't in my history anymore

Ok, so a few weeks ago, my friend invited me to a map that is meant for leveling up stranges, but at the time, I had almost none. Now that I have a ton of stranges, please help me find the map that we were on now that I can't find it myself. :bored::confused:

Here is a brief description of it:

It has bots of players in the spawn (Which you can kill)

It appears to be in the air (Note, this is NOT awesomebox)

Jumping off of it will result in death

The spawn looks like a temple lined with pillars

There is a single staircase in front of the spawn leading to a pit.

How about you just play on regular TF2 server. Did you know you can level up your stranges on this way too?

I would say though that this guy looks like he doesn't know that "achievement" maps - maps for levelling up stranges - are a type of map, so you may be able to find a similar map even if you can't find the map itself. Just look for map names beginning with achievement in the server browser.

However, I and many others on this site - and many of the experienced people you will play with in the future - strongly reccomend that you do not level up stranges like that. Nobody else cares what rank your stranges are, and it will devalue the effort you put in if you just endlessly grind against bots. Let me just repeat that: in this game, because of the existence of achievement servers, no one cares what rank your weapons are and number of kills is wiped when traded. You are just wasting your own time when you could actually be having fun.

tf2maps.net people are especially bitter because achievement and orange servers give custom map servers and tf2 in general a bad name: nothing more than poorly made tiny levels to grind bots or muck around in. So please don't bring them up here, kay?

Finally, could an admin move this out of the mapping discussion forum? It's not really about Hammer.

Gamebanana has a lot more achievement maps than we do, we as a community are more focused on other types of TF2 maps, like normal TF2 gameplay and some custom sourcemod gamemodes with our recent 'Non-Standard Maps' section.

Now then, what the hell is with the hostility to this guy here? He's just asking a question. Lampenpam, how about you don't post if you've got nothing helpful to say? Why do you think berating the OP is acceptable? Sevin, as Boojum said someone might know, what was your hope for a response to your post? them just saying "ok, bye"? What kind of welcome is that?

RubbishyUser, People are fine to bring up any maps here, there may not be much of an audience for them here but to squash discussion is a stupid idea. I think this is the most relevant forum section for it, the only other place that could be considered is TF2 talk and this is mapping related.

I say if the comp community is allowed to be hostile towards anything that isn't a 1:1 carbon copy of badlands, then we're allowed to be hostile towards people who waste all their time on achievement and idle maps instead of actually playing the goddamned game at all.

I don't think I was being snide or rude in my post, all I was saying is probably no one on this site will know the map in question because no one on this site plays achievement maps. Kalama, you're probably better off making a thread on SPUF or Reddit, they may know.

That is an absolutely horrible attitude to have and I am ashamed/angry that you even think that is justifiable to think about.

This is the kind of attitude that makes people think competitive TF2 is no fun.
