Event Rules and Information (link)

If there's something specific you want feedback on in your map, write so a line below the rest of your submission, and I'll try to announce it just before the round starts. (Eg: Do the respawn times feel fair?)

I'm sorry for being super late on this thread, was completely out of my head the past two days and I forgot to make a reminder about it on my calendar. (have done so now for the next 5 weeks so I should be good). I'm pretty sure we'll fill this up anyway though cause the last one did very quickly (prove me right!).

Edit: Alright so the gameday's official timeslots are full, but I should be good to run an extra few maps beyond the end of the gameday just for tests anyway. Berry says he might be able to host past me as well if I have to head out, so thanks Berry!

I think you got the time wrong, the event began one hour early...

Well, the linked to timezone converter says that it began at 1700 EST, which means 2300 in my local time. Yet the event obviously began at 2200 local time. Given that the timezone converter is correctly set to show my local time, then I have no explanation on what went wrong here. But something did.

Gameday feedback video posted for the gameday.

I included a small briefing before I list the maps to describe how I see feedback. I'd like to add that I don't necessarily see it in maps all the time, but I have noticed maps relying maybe too heavily on feedback in the past. I'd rather see mappers take these as perspectives and then take them into consideration when they try to make the next version based off how they already want their map to play.

I also didn't say it was me talking at the start of the video, I just forgot to do that, didn't think it was worth re-rendering and uploading for that, but I would normally do that.

I also included the audio files in the descriptions this time, so if you wanted to hear how we came to these conclusions you can give those a listen.

I commented on the video, but I'll leave it here as well. It might be a good idea to link back to the main video in the description of each individual one. Maybe with the timestamp to where all the annotations are on screen. Just an idea. :)

Really enjoy the videos though. One of the reasons I wanted to get my map in the gameday. It's nice to actually get some thorough feedback.

Yes, I completely agree with grizzly. It's really useful to hear a long, detailed review on your map, and not only short feedback people write on your map, trying not to get killed while writing it... (but are useful too, of course)
It's also really nice to watch other map's videos, to see how they have updated since the last time I saw them.
