So of course I know of Froz3n's prefab for spawnrooms. But for some reason it unloaded, and now I can't find it on the site. Anyone got a link I could use to find the prefab? Thanks!

EDIT: Oh, and the ABS pack doesn't fully install, just the gametype library and the prop library, nothing else. Very annoying :(

Have you successfully installed it in the past? When? What changed since then? Are you using the right Hammer? (common\team fortress 2\bin\hammer.exe)
Did you check if the prefabs installed? (Dropdown list above entity list when on the entity tool)
Is tf-abs.fgd in common\team fortress 2\bin?
What fgd is listed when you go to Tools > Options > Game Configurations?

(not to shotgun you with questions, just faster that way :p)

Only installed with the same result in the past. Nothing changed. Using right hammer. They are all checked off to install.

Though for some reason, although I specifically installed the ABS pack in a specific place, it installed all of the prefabs in the common folder. Thank you very much.

It seems this is a continuing misunderstanding people have. It says on the page that the directory you pick IS only for the library maps. Everything else has a hard-coded destination because there is only one place it can be to work. Prefabs only show up if they are in the right bin, both config files go in that bin, one of which is edited to point at the new fgd, and the custom materials will only work if put in the game directories, so I didn't provide an option to change where they go.

Why do they only work there? The only thing I do with them is copy pasta them into my map when I first start. Aside from the Sound Gallery I don't see why I couldn't have them in the same place as the libraries. I just move them there anyway and it doesn't seem to change anything. Not to critique, just wondering. Perhaps put prefabs like doors and payload-tracks that don't require TF2 with the libraries?

Are you not using prefabs correctly? They are supposed to be in the folder I have them put in, because they are supposed to be inserted with the tool so they are automatically named incrementally so multiple copies of them don't conflict. That is what a prefab is, and frozen's thing shouldn't really be called a prefab because it isn't actually used by Hammer's "prefab" function.
