I see I'm not the only one who's figured out how to convert BioShock props for Source. And discovered that there are no collision meshes. The painted-on plasmid jars in the Gatherer's Garden was something I never noticed before, though. It's crazy how cheap the assets in that game are when you strip out the fancy lighting effects.

Pretty much. I also had a chuckle when i noticed that.

I'm not sure whether i should be sad or glad that Gildor's tools are so hard to use, but i'm definitely sad that they can't extract collision meshes and animations :c

The fact that the characters can be extracted fully rigged is very nice tho.

We played this map on our community server today (30 players) among other maps, this was a sort of "easy ending" for the event. Anyway, pings raise quite much due to physics simulations. 100-150 averaging per player vs the normal 20-50ms. Was fun for first rounds as people went "WTF".

I can imagine that the pumpkins would cause quite some lag.

I didn't really care at first becaue "lol yolo", but now i kinda want to see if i can make this a serious unserious map (which means it shouldn't have to lag every time Dolan shows up.)

Right nowi have no idea how to get rid of the gibs tho.

That is the exact same thought process I had with TSL. God speed.

It really is super rewarding to create a goofy dick-around map, I've found. We're all shooting for players enjoying our maps, this is just another way of going about that.

I think the reason for the collision mesh thing is that there aren't any. This is what Gildor said: "Unreal Engine usually uses automatically generated kDOP collision information for StaticMesh." I have no idea what kDOP is, but it sounds like something that's done as part of the compile process.

Hey thanks for the update :D Are you planning on litle update for hallowen? You could add a spooky scary skeleton song and bunch of Ghosts on the map after captured point :D Just a litle idea.
