Hello everyone, I'm brand new here, and I'm a member of a group that runs a server and we've been adding various maps to it for us to play on. One of the maps I was especially excited for was dm_sdm_final, so we downloaded it from this website. Unfortunately, 2 of our admins pulled various errors while extracting the .rar, and so as a corrupt map file, I was wondering if there was anything that could be done to fix this. Thanks for your time. =)

There's a steam chat and a steam group, that might be a place to start looking.

I've looked everywhere for the Steamgroup. They removed the ability to browse and search groups on Steam a long time ago, and Google didn't help at all. Would you be able to provide me a link to it in any way?

I'm the guy who made that map. I fucked up when compressing the zip, so you have to extract it with 7zip or it won't work. That being said, the map has apparently been completely removed from TF2maps.net so I guess I'm a bit late.

Unless you or someone else may still have a copy, then you could try contacting them or finding a copy you have, and uploading that.

It's on the front page of the website. The link on the sidebar labelled "Steam Group"

I'm thinking of uploading it up on Game Banana, where all my other maps are (and where I'm pretty sure it won't be randomly removed)

I might try to fix a few problems with the map before that, some entities became obsolete since I made it.

In the meantime you can grab it from Lazypurple's map repository: http://lazypurple.net/tf/maps/dm_sdm_final.bsp

@Deity Link

Your map was not randomly removed; when we migrated the site over to a new forum software last year, all of the downloads had to be imported manually by our volunteers, so obviously some things were missed. We still have a site archive where you can browse and download anything that was hosted on the site before the migration (and reupload it to the import queue if you wish).
