The folks over at eXtelevision just released a pretty fascinating documentary they made about competitive Team Fortress 2 and the blood, sweat and tears that went into hosting the first-ever TF2 global LAN tournament. We're always suckers for movies with "TF2" in the title, and it doesn't hurt that it's an engrossing watch, either. You can watch the whole thing on YouTube here.

you realize it already happened and USA got #1 and #2 spots right? also by global lan tournament, i believe that means teams from all over the globe come to one place to compete via lan. i cant remember if aussieland ever sent a team (i think now), so ya USA vs EU.

A few Australians went to i46, not as a team though.

i49 on the other hand, we've got Team Immunity. Should be interesting because our league is essentially a blend of the Euro and US rulesets.
