Finally remembered to update the OP with the new screenshots. I'm hesitant to wipe the whole post and replace it with up-to-date info, but I added a disclaimer that a lot has changed since I wrote it.

The fact that there's a walkway from "Vent" over the hallway is probably the #1 most important thing, it's gonna solve so many of the area layout problems the map currently has

- No way to "catch up" to enemy intel carriers leaving the flag room out hallway before they hit mid
- No way to flank people in the vents without going through their spawn
- No way to flank hallway
- No way to escape hallway if its exit is being shat on without going back to spawn, even as a "mobile" class

It covers all of those.

I hope to see this finished someday. I've been keeping an eye on it for most of a year now, it's a hugely promising project.

It's 2014! We need our new turbine man! Please finish this, so we can bask in the gloriousness of new map smell. :O

I personally hate turbine, doublecross is the only TF2 map I can have fun on.

I'm assuming you only play 24/7 Doublecross servers for your entire tf2 career
