seems a little to small!not sure!I have never seen one of these maps!I was also playing with bots and it was really easy to get the intel!

its like ctf but dynamic like csf but then not dynamic because of everything else but i thought the idea was good, just cramped. dynamic is the buzzword of the day.

yeah 4 rounds in 15 minutes is kinda quick, but then again at least the classic ctf problem of turtling seems to be solved.

it seems to be acceptable now, the a1 had half the server rtv'ing it. i enjoyed the faster cqc fights tho but i guess thats not what people are accustomed to these days.

I am unimpressed by your ship-jutsu. I think you need a fancy modelled ship! But srsly, it looks cool.

are you volunteering? :p on the srs note, while a huge model of this size would be framerate death, i'll probably be needing some smaller models like cannons, sails and the figurehead if this map doesnt die before beta.

i'm not even sure what to do with this map. on one hand, i enjoy the unrealtournamentish pace of fights...on the other, 2 and a half minutes being the maximum round length is a bit ridiculous. on one hand, i have feedback "make this wider", on the other "no dont" :D

to deal with this dilemma, i have decided to add brushwork cannon prototypes. they can help where even the hydroshields would fail.

if you get rid of some sentry spots, tweak some routes around, make c a bit easier to cap, then maybe just maybe i will still get tired of all the closed spaces

but no it was fun, finish

i think i'll just make it a bit smaller first. before this version, sentries were ripped apart before they got a chance to get even to level 2 and no round lasted longer than 2 and a half minutes...now it played just like any other ctf map. gotta find the middle ground.

Before you make any major changes, try making it medieval mode. I'm being serious.

any server can set any map medieval mode if they so desire ( and if the map doesnt die before getting publicly released ). making and testing a map specifically for a glorified melee mode however... nty. even if the theming of the map seems fitting for it.

We played with demoknights only on this map in the last impromptu and it was 100x more fun than with guns and sentry spam. I honestly think this map would be much better with medieval mode.

Did you not read the post above yours? Any map can be Medieval mode using a single console command. What would be the point in limiting his own map to that mode only?

The point would be not having to spam the server admin to death to get it switched to medieval mode, but I guess that works too.

tbh there is a point of having a medieval version so the servers can have a medieval intermission inbetween normal play without tinkering with server settings. im just not interested in making anything specifically for it. if the end version of the map is still suitable for medieval (and the map doesnt get abandoned) - cool, i might make medieval version. if not, no biggie.
