in the custom folder should only client mods go
you can put your mapping stuff in
tf/materials
tf/map
tf/models
etc...
On this way packing is easier and everthing you downlaod from the servers goes to tf/download
So just put your map in tf/maps and the mapname.txt there too
I just dropped mapname.txt into my maps folder and it works fine

Do the majority of mappers make multiple language txts? I'm gonna guess not
I wouldn't assume so, but if I was a real nice guy I would.
