Or at least this worked for me.
1) Install Source SDK. I actually don't know if this is a required step. It sounds strange, but trust me
2) Go to your Team Fortress 2 folder (or whatever game). It's in common, not under your username, I believe.
3) Go to bin
4) There are Hammer, Faceposer, etc. applications in there. Run them
I haven't tested this with other games yet.
Wait, is this old news? I hear of people getting problems running the .bat. There was another thread below me that explained something, so I thought that might be the latest...
