how can i take a picture, and put it onto a wall? i want to take my clans logo and put it permanently onto the map, not a temporary spray.

That goes over everything ( dont worry about it being for CS:S, its still the same process for TF2)

Then you bundle thim into the .bsp using something like pakrat or map analyst (I'll let you google those)

that doesnt help, i dont want the logo tiled and covering the wall, just in one spot; one picture.

i would if i could figure out how to fet it into Hammer. all the tuts for it r for HL2 or CSS, and dont work for TF2, cuz i dont know what to change in the .vmt

If you've got access to Photoshop, you can use the Photoshop VTF Plugin to save your clan logo in the proper format. Check out this page and information to see what flags you'll need, should you want alpha or something else in your texture. I believe then you should be able to simply save your art as a VTF file and put in in the tf/materials directory.

YES I FINALLY GOT IT!!! it took some trial and error crap, but i finally got it!
