But you can call me Sam. I am 18 years old, and I spent most of those 18 years trying to quench my thirst for knowledge.
I only picked up mapping fairly recently when I started getting bored with the standard TF2 maps. Ever since the beginning, I've been coming to this site and the VDC to learn more about Hammer and how everything therein works. It's through that, combined with plenty of trial and error, that I know what I currently know.
So you know what, screw it. If I've stuck to this mapping thing and soaking up information for this long, I may as well join the crowd of people before me.
