This is cp_intermodel, a 5 CP push map that I'm making with 6v6 TF2 in mind. An intermodel train is one that carries single or double stacks of cargo containers- hence the cargo containers everywhere.

Pay no attention to the silly overuse of the containers at last... Many of those will be changed to something else during beta :)

Also what in the world is that floating shipping crate in the fifth screenshot doing? It doesn't look like it's supported by anything.
Besides the over-abundance of shipping crates (which I never liked too much in maps but that's just me) it looks interesting, let's test it.

PDT, JeanPaul is correct. That is the entrance into the flank route into CP2. It's not really floating, it does look like it from the pic, though.

Also, my team's server (72.5.102.160:27015) will be running the map every now and then when we want to play it. I'll try and get it in a gameday soon as well.

i love that too. anyways looks a bit big and you are definitely overusing those containers.

But it's cp_intermodel! It's supposed to be a container loading/shipping facility! Haha.

I will probably wind up replacing some of them at some point. They are great filler for a first alpha.

Actually that's what I was going to say - you need MORE MORE MORE shipping containers off outside of the playable area. Maybe do something like the upward map and put in the cargo ship.

I'm actually serious above, if I was joking I'd say make a 3D skybox and line the outside of it with the container crates but I can already see LeSwordfish having a kaniption fit just at the thought of it :p

I'll get to that bit once I make sure we've got a good inner map working, but yes, more cargo loading facilities etc. are in the works.

Congrats Hyce on making it in the UGC 6s season! Looks like you haven't updated the latest version on this site with rc3. I can't wait to see how this map develops after people play it. I'll sticky some map threads on the UGC forums to point them here and tf.tv. Good luck with the map and hopefully we see it after this season!
