How do I get the tf_populator entity into my MvM map?

I've googled, I've searched with no response on how I'm supposed to get a tf_populator point entity into my map.

It doesn't show up in the entity list, I've been informed that's normal.

I can't copy it from things like a decompiled decoy because it doesn't exist as an entity when I open it up with hammer (decoy referenced a game_populator that doesn't exist in the map).

Any help on this? Thanks.

It's dynamically created by the MvM coding. You don't have to create it in hammer.

Oh okay, so what file is it created in for me to set which .pop file it needs to use?

Let me rephrase that into something meaningful: "How do I specify which pop file the map should use?"

The server admin can load any pop file manually. The default one has the same name as the map, but with a different extension.

Oh, my map wasn't loading a .pop file by default. It would have the ready up and everything, but the wave would just act never-ending, no bots, no tanks, no support.
