Dunno if it's been mentioned but the containers have bad/no clipping so when you go up the ramp and try to jump or whatever you hit the upper one

Main criticisms were that it was large for a KotH map and that it was very open, making scouts and snipers very versatile. Also something to note:
Also, that little gap between the sign and mid on either side of the point (hard to explain) is really strong. I used it to make multiple escapes and I could just stand still in the little pit area during the initial fight and get like 3 kills.
Might be something that needs to be looked into more. Probably won't pug this one again until the next revision. Hope this feedback helps.

I understand that this is supposed to be a HL map though, so I don't expect you to use this feedback.

Sorry that there hasn't been a new release yet! I have been very busy with college and I don't really have the time to get a new version out. I will try to get one out around Christmas, but I can't promise anything!

I just played this for the first time. I've got to say its A LOT OF FUN. Normally KOTHS feel one dimensional and geared toward one class. This map has a lot of room to play around in so it will stay fresh for a long time. The point itself is awesome for a few reasons, the containers allow for rocket jumping on and demo bombing over, but there is a passageway underneath for spies or anyone really, engi nest points, but what I think the best part... the whack a mole jump up hole.

This map is as close to official as official is. Quality details, plenty of room and plenty of action. The side paths are nice and interesting. Getting to the other team's spawn point feels good, because its not easy to get to like some other KOTHs. Without easy spawn killing, it keeps the action flowing. Each class feels useful and fun to play to their strengths. Quality stuff. :) Thanks for making it. My friends that played it really enjoyed it too. I'll be playing this more.

I do know that it will be the next map to be played in OZHL, due to popular vote from team captains.

also we found a glitch in the map when pugging it (we love to pug this map); it is possible to find yourself stuck in the ground next to the truck halfway between blue/red spawn and mid.

images here. it's happened more than once mid-pug, and can frustrate.

this happens on both blue & red side; i've reproduced it by, from the view of the second image as per above, holding left&fwd until stuck, then briefly heading right&fwd until stuck again, then mashing random buttons until you get in the position whe you can't actually get out. That may not be the way they get stuck, but it's proof of concept.

I hope that you continued efforts on this map will see rewards, it's a great map. we (in australia) may have gameplay feedback incoming; we'll need to butt heads for a bit and get back to you.

I know Hanz knows about that; it's because of how the displacements sew together (or rather, don't sew together).

Just a quick post to tell you guys that I am currently working on b3, which should be released in a week or 2. I am sorry that it took so long, but with exams lasting 1.5month I really couldn't find the time and motivation to do it! I'll mostly be working towards the UGC tournament, which means the update will contain changes suitable for 9v9 (and also 6v6).

Be sure to work on the exposure settings because your snow is straight up pure white in some areas.

Glad you finally got the time to finish it, make sure to get testing in here though before you unleash it on the UGC people
