This is my second serious TF2 map which I have done for now.

This is a snow and alpine themed koth map. Where the fight between RED and BLUe takes place on a heating and recovery facility where RED and BLUe once cooperated before RED and BLUe began hiring mercenaries to destroy each other. Because they found out that they spied at each other under the disguises. The facility itself is enbounded to small mountain near a city. An enegry facility can be seen in the background, which is owned by the Alpha Enegry Company.

- "The point is outside of the boiler house. There's a lot of ways getting to there, alot of possiblites to kill and take cover."

Yes. I have tested it on my high-end computer and it works fine. Only the tunnels, houses and spawnrooms have areaportals.
Fade + Occluders: no.

I like the theme of the map but there's one tiny thing. The skybox has snow all over it, but the playable area hasn't. Some displacement snow here and there makes it more consistent with its environment.
Also, could you post a screenshot of the point area itself?

-Update bump-

B2- Clipping Update
  • Added playerclips to stop bots getting stuck under stairs and stop exploiters go exploiting
  • Added more details (and snow!)
  • Added a info_observer_point, overlooking the point and it's area around it
  • Fixed BLU's doors using a non-exsiting filter
  • Enlighted the dark rooms from B1

The snow is nicely placed along the edges of paths, looks like someone tried to clean it up. Looks nice! :)

That arched tunnel is a detail piece that TF2 is really missing and I like to see here. In the future though, use more brushes so it's rounder. That'll make it look really amazing. The inner support bars already do a lot to sell it, I think.

Ehm, I haven't placed snow all over the supposed yet. It's there to paint it more snowy. Oh, a reason more. I'm awaiting for more feedback or there's chance that I have to remake the snow displacements again. Not funny.

However I bring a good news.
I reserved this map for nightwatch's UGD #2, coming on the 13th December.

B3- 1st Feedback Update (12-21-2012)
  • The hand-railings at the stairs are now clipped
  • Added few health- and ammokits
  • Added few handrailings to control the pyros' airblasts.
  • The roof on the big buildings between the point and the teams' spawnrooms are now detailed and clipped.
  • Added few covers take the spawncampings under control.
  • Fixed few lights to be darker rather than too bright for few players.
  • Added covers to the point
  • Made the capture area for the point bigger. It currently have no any markers.
