Hi everyone, I am looking for a TF2 map maker for an interesting idea I have in mind. I am not going to give too many specifics but, it should be fairly simple and I will definitely reward whoever helps me out.
Thanks and if you would like to discuss just add me at: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198040675236/

Desc:
A small description of the map would be, a round area themed to degroot style (with brick flooring and a nice background with a valley type theme or maybe even a river), with town buildings surrounding the circle that would fit the theme of degroot. The map should be a decent size but not too large, this will be an arena map with melee only.

Making a description of your idea would have taken like two minutes. Either you are super lazy or you are not committed at all.

Way to make a good first impression...

I was trying to keep the idea as a secret, however I can add some description of what the map is like. Thank you for telling me if this is causing people to go away.

It causes people to go away. If you asked for people to do a PL map, for example, try to describe Upward like you did. Only you would understand.

Your OP describes what the map looks like, not what actually makes it interesting. If you really want to attract potential mappers you should consider revealing a few details, as nobody will want to take a shot in the dark with an "interesting idea."

Ok thank you I added a few more details, (arena, brick flooring texture, etc.), I just would like to see if anyone is interested at all and go more depth with details if they add me.

I could be wrong, I don't find brick flooring all that interesting. We want details on why this project is special.

It's the way i will use the map that's special, the specific new type of game that will be played on this arena. I just can't say exactly what it will be used for since its an original idea no one has used.

The only real details you've said so far are arena, circle, medieval. That is only slightly more interesting than a medieval arena map in the shape of a box.
What will make this map different from any other map? Will it look like the TF2 logo when viewed from the top? A smiley face? Is the point at the top of a tower? In a dungeon? In the middle of a lake? Is there a lower level? Are there roofs you can get on? Are there chariots you have to avoid? Is there lava?
Throw us a bone. Making a circle isn't very exciting by itself.

If you're paranoid someone will "steal" your idea, don't be. People with ideas far outnumber the people who actually know how to make things; the ones who know how will be too busy working on their own ideas to care about yours.

Yea, I understand where you're coming from, however, so far someone has added me and we'll see from there however I would like this post to be still up in case I may need someone else to help me work on it.

Yeah, we might even help programming it. It's not like we're going to steal it. We have other things to do. I have to work on my own map. Which is an arena map. And took 12 days to make A2. But anyway, Wolfkit, the idea of the TF logo when looked from above is ingenously simple and amazing.
