I have a snowball model that is made for Counter Strike 1.6. I would like to make it so I can use it in my team fortress two server. In a plugin that i have it says the model used is ball001.mdl i added the counter strike model to the exact folder its supposed to be in and changed its name from w_snowball.mdl and deleted the original and it wouldnt work. Why?

GoldSrc to Source. No wonder why it doesn't work. You're probably going to decompile it from GoldSrc, than compile it back to Source. I just don't know how to do it.

EDIT: I got 300 posts. I'm moving to Greece (bad pun, really bad pun).

To be honest, a snowball doesn't sound hard to make as a model really. Most modeling programs have some sort of "auto-sphere" tool. I'd just keep the polys low. Texturing shouldn't be difficult either, in my opinion.
