Custom textures on official models?

I'm currently using the Rocket model from the red team on my map, but I want to change the texture it is using. Not only this, but, if possible, enlarge the resolution.

I was wondering if this is possible, and if so, how?

You have to decompile the model.

The resolution change would just be increasing the size of the texture so you can add more detail. Doubling it would probably be easiest.

I'm really curious if someone knows how I can increase the resolution as well.

e: Didn't saw yyler's post yet, but shouldn't doubling it just mess up the texture? I imagine (though I'm clueless), that the engine model looks at texture files with coordinates? So when you increase the coordinates get messed up?

Also, I assume I would need to create a custom texture from scratch..

If you straight up resize the texture then it'll most likely stretch, pixellate, and look silly. Remaking the texture is your best bet if you want to change its size.
