I wonder how they're planning to pace that out with leveling up and the badass points mechanic. I want to get the bang for my buck, but longer isn't better if it isn't meaty enough.

Anyone want to get the four-pack with me?

Is it possible to share a four-pack with people from different regions, by the way? I'm just thinking it's probably cheaper in the US.

I went and got it from Intkeys instead, they have it for 39 USD, which is cheaper than any region on Steam (even if you get it in the 4-pack with the 10% discount). So, sorry, nevermind my 4-pack suggestion.

Yea, I bought it from IntKey too. Took me a second to realize that I won't get the key til launch day, but thats fine, since It'll be around the time that I will be having my first round of exams. No need for the distractions.

I'm not sure if it looks better with the fancy particles EVERYWHERE. One thing I've been very worried about with all the borderlands trailers is that as soon as any action starts it's just a clusterfuck of particles everyfuckingwhere.
Gary of Gmod however thinks it's shit that the game looks way worse on ATI cards so I'm inclined to think it looks better with PhysX since I have an Nvidia :D

So anyone got any builds? I'm super original so obviously I'm playing bloodshed Zero. All the classes seem to get some pretty crazy stuff, and I find it interesting that there's really only half a tree dedicated to support siren. I like it though because it means you aren't really forced down a single path if you want to play healer. Feel free to critique or post your own.

So would you guys rate this game a definite buy? I'm looking to play something other than TF2 and L4D for a while and I never played the first one. Good for multiplayer with non friends - i.e. just jumping online an playing?

However, I did enjoy the"You bad ass you" and the upping of your bad assedness to even great levels - lol

uuhhhh never played in a random servers, I've looked a few times and there never seemed to be more than half a dozen available anyway. It isn't even close to the style of multiplayer that TF2 is or that L4D is.
If you enjoyed the first one it should be an instant buy but otherwise I think I'd find it hard to put a finger on the kind of person who would/wouldn't enjoy it.
It's pretty damn good, plenty of play time available, both single and multi. Plenty of playstyles with the five classes currently available and a sixth on the way(confirmed by Randy the other day on twitter)
