Compiled map crashing tf2 after BSPzip.

Compiled map crashing tf2 after BSPzip.

So to be aboslutely clear, this map compiles correctly and works great. Perfectly Normal.
After I embed my two WorldVertexTransition files stored in [TF Root]\materials\<mapname>\*.vmt,
Useing both/either PakRat or PackBSP 2.0.5 ,
My map no longer will load in tf2, when hosted on Scrds or Sourcemod clients hang and "retreiving server info"

Also, less than two weeks ago this process was working with PakRat.

Any ideas why BSPzip no longer works for me?

Never tried BSPzip before.

Try PackBSP instead. It's easy, straightforward and has never failed me personally.

As I stated:

Any ideas why BSPzip no longer works for me?

I did try with PackBSP, Same result.

Also, "BSPzip" is the commandline utillity distributed with SourceSDK that both Pakrat and PackBSP streamline the use of.

Well, fuck me for not reading it through.

Am i reading it correctly when you say that you can't even open it through console?
Because otherwise, I'd suspect the server is to blame.

Before packing the materials, the map loads correctly in both the server and in the singleplayer client. After the materials have been packe, cients hang at retriving server info or hang loading the map in single player, Witch are probably the same stage of loading the map.
And yes, I do everything practical though console commands.

Has anyone had any troubble packing files after the most recent tf2 or sourceSDK update?

I have not. Did you try pakking other files or one of those two textures?

I've done some testing and found out that with a clean install of tf2, my map (That has no compile errors) will Crash tf2 after ANY content is packed into the bsp, After BuildingCubemaps the map will crash on load unless I delete the packed files, if there are no packed files the map will not crash tf2.
I'm goiung ot reinstall source sdk and see if that fixes anthing.
