weird question; when in the model viewer when selecting props it won't let me use certain letters. C and G in particular.Anyone know how to fix this problem?

Also been having to check the local cache for tf2 every time I restart my computer. It's getting really old, I've been trying to run offline so I can work on the run, but this prevents it.Any solutions to this?

Tried Resetting Game Configuration for both.Hopefully I don't need to completely re-install tf2, I will if that is the only solution. Thank for any help you can give me.

The first one seems to be a bug, I know yyler and I have been getting it. We're gonna have to wait on Valve to fix it I think.

I'm not sure about the second part, but verifying cache manually should fix this. Usually does for me anyway.

Good to know it's not just me with the bug. I've tried manually checking the cache several times, no luck however.

Has that been happening for a long time? My SDK did that a while back, I just let it do its thing now it doesn't bother me. Try running TF2 I suppose.

You can copy/paste search times? Seba and I can't.

It was C and H for me originally but now it's U as well.

Maybe it's an ARG to the next Half-Life?
That would be an awesome ARG.

Actually it'd be a terrible ARG.

What if there is one of those secret messages in ever version of Hammer
(CS:GO, Portal 2, etc)?

They all lead to one message, and this message, leads to something like Barnacles chug Explosive Barrels and Toxic Zombies, so that it is somekind of easter egg we have to do in Half-Life 2 using Hammer, showing a screen with a website...

Shit, now I'm overthinking.

I'm no tech guru, but through trial and error, I may have an answer to your second problem.

Make sure that in your steam settings, the approx. speed of your connection is close enough. I had a similar problem recently, and set it to the lowest speed (the closest to my connection speed, unfortunately), and it cleared it right up like a retreating rash.

Hope this helps.
