I remodeled pl_strider which I made before into the mvm map.
I let Strider of HL2 appear in substitution for TANK.

Please attack it so that it is not attacked strider or the BOT to the defense spot.

I appear again in uniformity time even if I defeat Strider. However, Strider is destroyed when I annihilate the BOT.

Because I am under development, there is still many bugs.

Wont this interfere with copyrights? I mean, if you use HL2 textures for TF2, Valve will hate you.

Er, no it won't. However most people here frown upon the use of Half-Life 2 textures in Team Fortress 2 because they have very different art styles.

I have to say though, this map does look very good otherwise, if maybe a bit too flat.

I'm not a fan of using HL2 textures in TF2 maps at all, the art styles are hugely different, and it feels wrong mixing the two worlds.

However, ignoring the textures, it's technically quite a nice map. You've obviously put a lot of time into it! My only criticism at the moment would be that the sidewalks are a bit dull, in brushwork and texturing. You could use the arc brush tool to make sidewalks shaped a little more like this perhaps?

While HL2 textures in TF2 is a no-no, since this is 100% HL2-styled crossover I think this map is a yes-yes. How awesome!

I love how for the last year or so everyone here has been firmly against HL2 textures, gimmicky gameplay, reproductions of content from other games, and basically anything original, and then as soon as the creator of pl_strider shows up people start gushing about it.

No, seriously, I unironically (damn I hate that word) love that this happened.

Personally, I only played it once or twice ever, back when one server I used to be a regular on had it, so I don't remember whether it was good or not. But MvM definitely seems like a better fit. Now that we have all those city textures from Kong King (and a good guideline for recreating that environment with the other textures we already had), I wonder if a new artpass might be in order. You'd need to get someone to reskin the props, but we have plenty of texture-savvy people here who'd probably be interested.

I think it's a testament to how we hate them because usually they're done badly. Like, it's original and interesting to write your manuscript in sparkly green gel pen. But it's the sort of decision that might cast aspersions on the quality of your writing. Here we've got "Paradise lost" in sparkly gel pen.

Round ends when all the bots are killed, the strider can still be alive.
This makes the last wave extremely easy.
Maybe you could hold back one bot until the strider is killed so that the round can't be ended before?
