That is it. After the signing stuff there were some company information (e-mail and company name, which is already seen here, so I decided to leave it out this post as it seems unimportant.)

Seems legit. They are basically asking permission to include your map in their cd/dvd whatever.

it's really up to you. They arent asking for any personal info that i can see. If you want some exposure, just reply and set some terms yourself. Like a link to your site (or tf2maps.net :p)

If they mail you that, your map has to be good. I googled for CP_Mountaindepot and found nothing. How the hell can they know about your map than?

I got this too. I gave them permission as long as they labeled it alpha.

no one seems to have mentioned this yet...these are pms on this site...sent by: http://forums.tf2maps.net/member.php?u=1987

it seems a bit odd to me that they seem to be asking for a bunch of alphas and betas, i mean, they asked for mine (a single round attack and defend map at this point), and no one has even posted in my wip thread

also got this for my haywood map.
gonna do some research on them.

I wouldn't be comfortable releasing an unfinished map that is still in it's beta's to some magazine.

Mm-m. I agreed to them doing it, but I also asked them to say that it is a beta version. Sry for not mentioning in my OP that this thing was a private message sent here. Very possible that the map will change a lot in the future (no pun intended) though, so I wonder why they want to distribute it..

IMO, France and America are like an old married couple - yea sometimes we fight like dogs and call each other names, but through it all we still love each other.

Doesn't matter if they are French, it's Future! Look at what they publish. Be amazed at the great extent of their power.

And then wonder if the email is legit.

Declare and guarantee that I’m authorised to contract this licence and that the above mentioned company which I represent owns all intellectual property rights.
This right here is the reason why I do not intend to allow them use my map...
2 main things, 1st spelling errors in a submission format they want everyone to use...
2nd, the way this is worded makes you think that you retain the rights for your map, while actually saying that they get them...So...by allowing them to use your map, you are now representing them, and by representing them they own your map...

Oh, and the company may very well be legit, but the person asking for your map may not be a part of the company and just using it as a front...
