Models and props are included on the game. You can create one by putting prop_static/dynamic/physics entities and choosing the model you want to have.

well there are a ton of models in hammer already (use a prop_static) or u could head over to the model section of the forum:http://forums.tf2maps.net/forumdisplay.php?f=17
or if u really wanna be adventurous (yes i cant spell :p) theres a modeling program with the sdk (i think never actually used it) its callled XSI i think :p

anyway theres your choices :)

It is linked through the SDK, though. XSI is nice because it has easy to use options for exporting SMD files, which are used by your studiomdl.exe (in your sourcesdk\bin\orangebox\bin)program to make a finished model.

I Wish more of the mappers would release their props for use.

CP_Egypt, CP_redstone, and a bunch of others all have really nice props.

Theres someone on this forum that keeps saying its a good idea to use model textures that are already in the game to reduce file size...I want to ask how thats done...but don't remember who it was <_<
