So while i was playing Doomsday, the new Pyromania map, i got an idea for a game mode "port" of sorts. Maybe something along the lines of Conquest (like from star wars battlefront or battlefield). If you made it so it followed basic map design theory (three flanks and all) i think it could work out really well. My idea was that you have 3 control points that all start out neutral and in middle ground. These three points would follow the 3 separate flank's basic routes (2 side, one middle). You could have it so it's based on points, and holding the points would give you said points, and once one team reached a point limit, they won. The middle (it being sort of a focal point,) can be worth more points than the 2 side points it would make flanking still favor the unpredictable and sneaky classes, without making them too powerful when it comes to the objectives (and maybe holding an objective would give your team access to gates and such that led to other areas). This was a kind of spontaneous idea, so it's not flushed out or anything. Please add onto it and tell me your thoughts, i'd much appreciate it.
