After 5 mins of gameplay I can say that it's fun, for soldier.

Dunno the other classes. Whole fight goes on near the rocket, of course.

Update broke Sourcemod, again...

EDIT2:
Engineers will hate this map, spawnzone is big as hell, and the can't put teleporters out like in gravel pit.

Huh, interesting. Out of the trash drops I have, the Capacitors survived the flames and can't be crafted into the ash Crates.

Maybe for the tobor update?

So after all that, all but two of the special drops turned out to be red herrings, as did all the stuff they'd been stealth-adding to maps for the last several months. Is that about right?

Also, does Pyrovision really work on every map? I realize it's all just retexturing, but I was wondering how that would work with the very different outdoor lighting schemes they all have.

It was pretty blurry, but the one in the upper-right looks a bit like Cashworks.

So... I'm guessing this is the biggest update yet? Due to all these "duplicate" textures being added? Or did they wrastle up some shader magic.

Judging by the screenshots I'd say they played around with alpha channels or whatever the equivalent is in source, but I haven't played it yet so I can't really tell for sure.

It appears to only affect some maps. It works on Doomsday, Dustbowl, Badlands and Badwater. Does not work on Coldfront.

I'd test more, but my item loadouts just broke.

EDIT: Tested Foundry. The color/texture effect doesn't work, but all the ropes have bulby christmas lights on them.
Also looks like no matter which map, all the HP/Ammo packs will be slices of cake and presents.

My theory is that it's shader magic based on materials, (ie rock goes to one thing, dirt goes to another) with a few overrides for specific textures.
