I'm talking more about the blazay attitude everyone has towards our gamedays and the submission of feedback, not the fact that feedback might be negative rather than positive. The aggression, insults, general hostility towards authors and sarcasm serve no purpose in the feedback process. People seem to have forgotten that whilst we're all here because we enjoy this, gameday's aren't merely casual games where we can all wave our dicks about in joint cynicism.
I'm also talking about the problem Arnold has with people leaving premature feedback. Saying "map is confusing" after playing it for 10 minutes is just hard work for the author to put into context. People should be more considerate when placing their feedback; and the fact that we're all mappers here means we should know better.
Nobodies going to be banned for giving negative feedback, these forms of cencorship are even more detrimental to our tests than stupid comments which is why this kind of thing has become a problem, it's difficult to moderate. But a "how to guide" for feedback and a couple mute/gags probably wouldn't go a miss. If you were that pissed off during the game about something you can come back to this thread after you've had the chance to cool off.
