My second attempt at TF2 mapping! Magrahat Paschim is a payload race map. There isn't much to say about it, except that it has rotational symmetry.

Thanks to Tarry H Sruman for the map name!

Don't worry, I'll change the name when I decide how I want to detail this. :p

UPDATE: So, I made some changes to the layout. Nothing too complex, but it should make the map a bit more interesting.
A lot of people had complaints about a spawndoor leading to a deathpit, and how dumb that is. To remedy that, first:

So now, this spawn exit can actually be useful. However, this created some sightline issues (these new rooms could see each other across the map). To remedy that:

There are still some <sightline issues> I'm sorting out, but I think I have a solution. I'll keep you posted.

Overall felt very small. It seemed like you're either pushing or defending and which ever team started first you had to do the opposite.

I really liked the design but possibly needing a larger scale of it. My one true gripe was Engi's get super shafted as there is not a single spot that is a good place to build that isn't LoS or a death spot.

Keep it up man!

I feared that would happen, since the map has rotational symmetry. I'll probably stretch the mid section out, as it feels a bit cramped as is (especially with the addition of the middle building).

I've also made the final areas a bit more interesting, making them more friendly to sentries but also providing some cover for the attackers:

The flank routes are too long. People would see me run into one, and could just go around the other end of it to kill me. This really doesn't work well. The flank routes need to be hidden better, or something.

I'm not sure if that's a fault of the length of the routes, or just the fact that there aren't very many. I'll look into it.
