How do you promote/op people with the console?

i'm not sure what you mean by "promote/op" like at all

there's no built in way to do that unless you just give people the rcon password.
you'll want to install sourcemod.

Thanks for the replies :3 I thought you could promote people on a server through the console, which would give them access to server commands.
