Want a reply from robin? CC Gabe. You ALWAYS get replys when you CC Gabe no matter who the email is for.

I've mentioned this before but since Valve employee emails are made more public than most private company emails they seive through a ton of shit every day. I cringe over some of the things people admit to personally having emailed Valve over.

Chances are if you didn't get a response it's an irrelavent topic or it's already being covered and you'll find out about it in the near future.

They can't respond to every email, especially if they get the same email 50 times a day.

I agree with you, but it's kind of silly when you e-mail about an already in-game item that requires a bug fix (important) only for them to 1) agree to "ship your fixes in the next update" and then 2) never do anything about it.

After multiple emails later, they literally email me back saying they are busy. I understand they might be busy, but they can't ship an already fixed item along with any larger update? They have the time to ship the Cow Mangler and the bison (new game mechanics), but they can't ship an already compiled-ready-to-go item.

Seems a little odd to me.

Valve tend to prioritise their work differently to how we imagine or personally view it.

We created a thread of about 30+ map aesthetic bugs such as visible nodrawn surfaces or props that don't align to walls or intersect them right through to the otherside or overlays intersecting brush seems and only being rendered on one of 2-3 of the appropriate surfaces; and basically the response we got was "the amount of effort involved in an official update is huge and we need to warrant the amount of data that is transfered by updating hundreds of thousands of clients vs the impact of the changes".

Even though they could improve the aesthetics of numerous maps at tens of locations, some more obvious than others, they still havn't updated most of them.

The last "minor" update on a map was probably when they updated 2fort for balance reasons (levelling BLU's sniper fence so it couldn't be looked under and RED's blast door so it couldn't be jumped over when a dispenser was blocking it). I appreciate that they should be able to do this on already planned updates (and i agree) but it must simply just not rate high on their priorities. 2fort had way more problems than just those 2, like the tiny sign in the hallway to the battlements trapping players similarly to a cloaked spy.

^ Again, I agree. But as I said before, they actually sent me an email saying they would fix it in the next update (this happened 1 month ago). If they didn't really think they were going to get around to it, they should have just not bothered emailing me back at all-- but then again, perhaps it was to shut me up.

Also, a simple model fix is nothing compared to a map fix. You have to force everyone to re-download an entire map rather than just a simple model.

I'm not even getting any of this (as far as I know) and I still really wish they'd remember this.

If possible(and a request) are the images able to be hosted somewhere a bit better than tinypic? For some reason they just won't load in for me and I have no idea why. Possibly imgur or dropbox?
